Community Conversations remembers photographer Marci Stenberg
The life of photographer Marci Stenberg, “The Little Mermaid,” and Pops Concert are a few of this week’s topics on Community Conversations, a public service program on KYOS.
The hour-long show focuses on community, education and government news affecting residents throughout Merced County. The show airs at 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday on KYOS, 1480 AM.
This weekend’s lineup: Mike Conway and Nathan Quevedo reminisce about the life and career of the late Sun-Star Photographer Marci Stenberg and the impact she had on the community; John Curry talks about Weaver Junior High's production of the “The Little Mermaid” musical; the Merced Sierra Club chapter activities are discussed by Rod Webster; Merced Symphony Conductor Henrik Jul Hansen takes a look at the upcoming Pop's Concert and Linda Hoskins and Migel Soto talk about the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's upcoming events.
The show is produced by Roger Wood, Nathan Quevedo from the Merced County Office of Education, Mike Conway from the City of Merced and Scott Hernandez-Jason of the University of California, Merced, in association with the County of Merced and Merced College.
