Red Cross and City hold Preparedness Fair

Preparedness and Resource Fair Saturday

Save A Life Saturday is tomorrow, Saturday, May 17, at the Merced Civic Center, 678 W. 18th St. Drop by the free Community Preparedness and Resource Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a variety of activities, giveaways and fun.

During the Resource Fair, the American Red Cross and local community agencies will be there to provide fast and easy preparedness tips that will help you and your family get ready for all types of hazards and emergencies.

Activities include:

·         Free smoke alarm giveaway! (First 100 families)

·         Firefighter Frank and Friends Puppet Show

·         A chance to win a 3-day emergency preparedness kit

·         Free lunch!

·         And much, much more!

If you would like to register for a Health & Safety Course please visit us online at www.redcross.org/takeaclass. The event kicks off with free CPR and first aid classes earlier in the morning, but those have already been filled.
