The City of Merced is accepting applications from persons who are registered to vote in the City of Merced for positions on the following boards and commissions:
MEASURE C-CITIZENS OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE: The Committee is accepting applications from City of Merced registered voters living in the South Policing District. The Committee meets quarterly to review the projected revenues created by the voter approved Measure C, a one-half cent Sales Tax and recommends proposed expenditures to City Council. RECREATION AND PARKS COMMISSION: The Commission is accepting applications from City of Merced registered voters. The Commission advises the City Council in all matters pertaining to recreation and parks. The Commission consists of seven members who serve four-year terms of office.
