Merced's advisory boards and commissions provide many opportunities for residents to become involved in the City. The various boards and commissions make recommendations to the City Council/Redevelopment Agency.

The Downtown Steering Committee is accepting applications. The Committee was created to assure coordination between all organizations with downtown-related responsibilities through a steering committee. Click here for addtional information about the Committee.

The City Council is accepting applications from City of Merced registered voters for the Municipal Airport Authority. The Authority was created for the provision and maintenance of public airports and landing places for aerial traffic for the use of the public. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Click here for additional information about the Authority.
