Boards and Commissions

Merced's advisory boards and commissions provide many opportunities for residents to become involved in the City. The various boards and commissions make recommendations to the City Council.

Application for Appointment to a City Board or Commission


NOTICE OF VACANCIES

The City of Merced is accepting applications from persons who are registered to vote in the City of Merced for positions on the following boards and commissions: (*Open to County Residents.)


5-12-14: MEASURE C-CITIZENS OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE - (4) Vacancies
The Committee meets quarterly to review the projected revenues created by the voter approved Measure C, a one-half cent Sales Tax and recommends proposed expenditures to City Council. 

Current vacancies are:
2 South District Vacancy
2 Central District Vacancies

4-10-14: ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE - (1) Vacancy
The committee meets on the last Tuesday of each month.
