"G" Street/BNSF Railroad Undercrossing Citizens' Advisory Ad-Hoc Committee

The Committee meets with City staff to: (1) share information; (2) provide an understanding of Project parameters and opportunity for public input in an advisory role; (3) gather comments and ideas on specific project design aspects (including road connections, traffic control, and aesthetics); (4) gather comments regarding the need, type and location of traffic reduction/calming strategies; and (5) bring the input from the Committee back to the City design and consultant team for consideration in drafting the final “G” Street/BNSF Railroad Undercrossing Project design plans.

The Committee will be composed of individuals representing the community, including: (1) representative residents from the Ragsdale Neighborhood and from the neighborhood on the west side of “G” Street; and (2) at-large representatives from local businesses, schools and other citizens.  Additional review and comments will be sought from residents and property owners who live or own property on those road sections (23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th) closest to “G” Street.
