MARTIAL ARTS INSTRUCTION
Uechi Ryu Karate (Ages 6 & up)
Learn the techniques of Uechi Ryu Karate from professionally certified instructor Greg Brown.

Danzan Ryu Jujitsu (Ages 18 & up)
Danzan Ryu Jujitsu is an ancient and extremely effective martial art: the mother art of many modern martial disciplines and sports. It includes a comprehensive array of techniques such as strikes, throws, joint locks and breaks, escapes from holds, use of and defense against weaponry (both ancient and modern).
Jujitsu relies not on the strength and size of the practitioner, but rather on a sense of timing and distance and the ability to perform the technique smoothly and by reflex. This ancient art is physically demanding.

Capoeira (Ages 10 & up)
Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian class that incorporates dancing and martial arts. Students will learn and appreciate a whole new cultural experience. They will learn different dances, along with martial arts, and increase strength and flexibility. HUNTER SAFETY CLASSES
Hunter Safety and Range Instruction
The Hunter Safety Course includes the basic 10 hour minimum California Deparmnet of Fish and Game course, which cover the mandatory areas of hunter safety (3 hours), principles of conservation (1 hour) and sportsmanship and ethics (2 hours). There will be hands on instruction and it will include live fire at an out door range. Instructor Mark Akers brings 16 years of hunter safety instruction to the program. Participants must be prepared for the weather on the day of the live fire fortion of the class

Hunter Safety
Hunter Safety is a pre-requisite to obtaining a California hunting license. This two day class is designed for adults. Students must achieve a passing score on the California Department of Fish and Game hunting license exam to obtain their certificate of completion. Class instructor Herb Wood has over 35 years experience in Hunter Safety instruction. Dates/Times: Saturday & Sunday, 9am-4pm

Safety Drivers Ed Online
This is an interactive, educational online course with the latest in animation, video and web technology. It sets the foundation for behind the wheel driver's training and is in accordance with the guidelines set by the California Department of motor Vehicles. Course material includes: rules of the road, freeway driving, motorcycle and pedestrian safety, major causes of traffic collision, the effects of alcohol and drugs, and much more. The course is a requirement for teens under 18 years to obtain a learner's permit and driver's license. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a DMV approved Certificate of Completion via mail of their choice. Students must have access to the Internet to take this course and must complete the course at home. Students will have up to 1 month to complete this course.Registration Fee: $55

ONE STROKE PAINTING AND BEYOND ONE DAY WORKSHOPS
If you've ever wanted to learn to paint but thought you couldn't, One Stroke Painting is for you! Beginning painters will learn to paint "one stroke" at a time at 
their own pace. Once the basics have been learned, more challenging techniques and projects will be taught. The creator of this famous painting style, Donna Dewberry, (whom you may have seen on her nationally televised PBS program), has personally certified instructor Kathee Baba to teach you all the tricks and tips you'll need to start painting. Come and jhoin the fun!

Come and learn how to make your own All Natural Soy Candles! Soy candles are all natural, non-toxic and much healthier to burn in your home than a petroleum based candle. During the class we will be discussing different types of candle waxes, colors and fragrances and their effects on the environment . After making your candle, decorating materials will be provided to add your personal touch. This class is great for the hobbyist or anyone that woul like to make high quality Soy candles from their own home.
