City of Merced * Leaf Collection Program has ENDED
for the 2011-2012 Leaf Collection Season
The Public Works Department would like to thank the public for following the leaf collection guidelines!
Thank you to the Street Division/City staff for a job well done!
Do not park at curb on collection days.
Sweep leaves in rows at least four feet from the curb.
No brush or grass will be collected.
The City of Merced is divided into four areas for leaf collection.
Program will operate up to six days per week.
Each area will be allotted three days every two weeks for collection.
Note: No collection on Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s Day.
STREET SWEEPERS will follow the leaf collection schedule.

Collected leaves are used for mulch and compost.
