The project team is well-qualified and ready to carry out the project. The architect, Wenell-Matheis Bowe (WMB) of Stockton, has previously done many historic buildings, including the Stockton Fox Theater restoration. WMB has already finished conceptual studies and schematics for this project. The Merced Theatre Foundation has successfully raised funds for Phases 1 and 2 of Theatre restoration, and has already been operating the Theatre for limited community events.
