Welcome to our web site. In 1988, when we began our relationship with Somoto, Nicaragua, we didn't imagine we'd be able to tell the world about our activities in this way. In cooperation with members of APRODES (the Association for the Development of Somoto) our Merced/Somoto Sister City Committee fosters friendship and understanding between the citizens of our two cities.
