Community Conversations on the ‘Wiz,’ baseball and real estate
“The Wizard of Oz,” Atwater Aviator and a town hall meeting are a few of this week’s topics on Community Conversations, a public service program on KYOS.
The hour-long show focuses on community, education and government news affecting residents throughout Merced County. The show airs at 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday on KYOS, 1480 AM.
This weekend’s lineup: The “Wizard of Oz” comes to town this summer and Crystal Langley reveals the details of the Merced County Office of Education production; How do you spell AgBee? Val LeDuc with Merced County Office Of Education spells it out and explains how it will be at the Merced County Fair on June 13; Greg McDaniel tells why it is never too early to talk about Atwater's Fourth of July Celebration; Realtor Andy Krotik gives his view of the current real estate market; Kelly Thomas tells how the public can support the Atwater Aviators College Baseball Team; Mike Conway talks about the City of Merced’s upcoming budget hearing and State Sen. Anthony Cannella talks about the upcoming town hall meeting at Atwater Valley Community School on June 4.
